Bone Toki with Manaia Pendant

This beautiful pendant is hand-carved from beef-bone. Many of these are finished in traditional Maori designs while others are more contemporary. Our bone carvers go the extra mile to create true stunning wearable art. This hand-carved piece depicts Manaia, a mythical guardian. Supplied on a black adjustable cord. The Adze or Toki symbolizes strength as it represents the traditional Maori tool, whose blade had to be strong so as not to break when used.
