Rhythm & Beats - Tambourine

The tambourine can be used in many different ways to promote learning with young children. Co-ordination, fine motor skills and rhythm can be practiced through holding the tambourine in one hand and hitting it with the other as well as shaking it. It can also be incorporated into learning games such as having it on the floor and stomping around to make it shake, helping to foster curiosity and imagination as well as musical learning.
