Schleich Collectable - Swan

Schleich, founded in 1935, is a German producer of handpainted collectible toy figurines, animals and accessories.

The Schleich© FARM WORLD swan has a striking black lump at the base of the beak. This swan owes its name to this. The large birds belong to the duck bird family and prefer to live near lakes and ponds. There they feed on aquatic plants and small animals. When looking for food, they dig upside down with their long necks in the water. Once a year they molt to get rid of their old feathers and replace them with new ones. Schleich's figures are faithfully reproduced and always to scale. All figures are painted by hand. Thus the figures always correspond to reality.
