 Angie studied environmental science which perhaps explains her love for preserving flora and fauna in her artworks. Angie is continually inspired by the unique landscape of New Zealand and is constantly pushing boundaries on how she sees life in her new found land. Angie exhibits in a number of galleries around New Zealand and has just relocated to the stunning Victoria Park Market, where she creates her unique and original artwork.

Gender equality is being discussed within the media and in some cases its being recognised as the realisation of both modern and economic efficiency, the Kingfisher represents prosperity, the gentlemans watch to represents a male perspective and time for change, the Camelia flower, worn by the suffragette Kate Sheppard, represents New Zealand as the first country to allow women the vote in 1893. The scales show the balance between male and female.
