My Discovery 3D Microscope

STEREO MICROSCOPES (also called dissecting microscopes) are really two compound microscopes which focus on the same point from slightly different angles. As opposed to compound microscopes, the image is upright and laterally correct (not upside down and backwards). This stereo microscope uses light reflected from the surface of the object providing a clear magnified surface view. This professional quality microscope is ideal as a first serious microscope, as objects can be viewed directly, without prior preparation, and using both eyes. Any solid objects can be viewed in detail, including insects, plants, rocks and minerals. Both eyepieces use a 10x magnification lens and the microscope has a built-in LED light.
